Daisy Mae GH-1031 (FTA)

Woof! Woof!  Loving Life in my Forever Home!

Daisy Mae is no longer Heartworm positive and was adopted by her GoldHeart foster-to-adopt home, and loves patroling her yard with her sister Miley (also from GoldHeart – see pictures below) and making Mom laugh.  Mom reports that Daisy has made such a difference in their lives and she and Miley just love her to pieces!

Her story — Daisy – now Daisy Mae, was turned over to a high-kill shelter in NC after her owner could not afford to care for her. Crisis Dogs NC http://crisisdogsnc.rescueme.org/ pulled her from the shelter and found a wonderful temporary foster home. GoldHeart then answered the call for this sweetheart, who we expect is more beagle and lab (weighing in around 50 lbs) than Golden, but her spirit is all Golden! She was flow to MD by a wonderful volunteer pilot from https://pilot.dog/, and then transported to an approved foster-to-adopt home by GoldHeart volunteers and is settling in beautifully with her new sister (also a mix and adopted through GoldHeart.).

Due to her age (estimated between 10 and 12), being HW positive, and need to move to a quiet home quickly, Daisy was placed through our Foster-to-Adopt Program,
