RIP Beautiful Maggie 

On July 12, we lost our sweet Maggie. She and Finnegan came to live with us in June of 2020. We don’t know anything about their prior lives, but it was apparent that they had been together for a long time and were inseparable. She was our gentle golden girl who loved her newfound freedom to run around outside, roll in the grass and just lay there like she didn’t have a care in the world…though never without a tennis ball!  The first time we threw a tennis ball to her, she looked at us like “what am I supposed to do with that?† It didn’t take her long to figure it out.  From then on, she carried one around with her and when all the tennis balls disappeared we knew she had them stockpiled under her bed. 

Like a typical golden, she loved her stuffed toys and was first to greet anyone at the door carrying one with her tail wagging. She was our Momma dog who loved her family and kept an eye on everything! Maggie was a loving addition to our family and although much too short, we are thankful for the time we had. We miss her tremendously and will be forever grateful to GoldHeart for bringing this beautiful girl into our lives.
