Boo GH-698

RIP Boo

In June 2011, we drove to Baltimore from Damascus to bring home a 36 pound eight year old Golden Retriever mix who had been miraculously rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee. It was hard for his GoldHeart foster mom to say goodbye because she had grown to love him in the few weeks they were together. But, she knew he needed a forever home with caring dog lovers.

Boo immediately fit in with his new sister dog (a Basenji mix) and brother cats (a Maine coon and a Siamese mix).  He really enjoyed his new home, always busy exploring both inside and outside, and he showered his new parents with love and attention. He easily acclimated himself to the family’s 2013 move to Hilton Head, SC, especially enjoying the warmer winters and walks on the beach.

Boo crossed over the rainbow bridge on Nov 1, 2018, at the age of 15 ½ in the arms of his mommy and daddy.  He was a gentle soul and will be missed very much.
