Rosie Roo GH-1226

Woo Hoo! Thank you GoldHeart and Foster Family for helping me heal and for finding me an awesome forever home! Life couldn’t be better.

Meet Rosie Roo! She may be a little shy at first, but once you get to know her, she will never leave your side. Rosie arrived in late January 2023 with other golden doodles after being seized by the SPCA in North Carolina, rescuing from a situation where the pups were living in the woods in filthy kennels, and understandably were all terrified at arrival into GoldHeart’s foster home network.  Rosie has come a long way since arrival.  She needed lots of TLC as she successfully battled Heartworm and Lyme disease, and with the help of her foster’s poodle, and loving family she is learning to enjoy all life has to offer. She is super sweet and loves curling up on the couch, always near her family.

Gender: Female, spayed 6/27/23

Age: Estimated by the vets to be age 2- 3

 Weight: A petite 32 pounds

Health:  Rosie was declared heartworm free on 6/12/23, she will need a follow up visit and test to be sure the heartworms stay away (and annually thereafter). Due to coming in Heartworm positive, it is absolutely vital to her health that she is kept on monthly heartworm and flea & tick preventives. Rosie was also Lyme positive at arrival, was treated, and will need a retest in August to verify treatment was successful.

Personality:  Goofy, loveable, shadow dog, just want you to pet me all day!
