GoldHeart Expenses
Each year our expenses increase as veterinary care and supplies increase. The amount we collect when a dog is adopted rarely covers the expenses incurred. Below includes typical vet services for dogs coming into the rescue; however, some dogs need more vet services and this results in a higher average cost per dog. For example, average cost per dog rescued in 2021 was $1,400.
