Marshmallow GH-1163

Update 11-20-2020. Marshmallow is moved temporarily to our Long Term Foster Program, as we work with Orthopedic Veterinary Specialists to completely assess hip issues detected during a routine checkup and later confirmed after radiographs. Once a complete treatment plan is available for his hip dysplasia, next steps will be determined by the GoldHeart Board. Our hope is that at some point in the near future, he will be able to start the search for a forever home.

Consistent with GoldHeart’s Coronavirus COVID-19 Notice, only those homes ALREADY approved to adopt BY GOLDHEART will be considered for Marshmallow’s forever home.

6-month old Marshmallow arrived at his GoldHeart foster home on November 8 , This sweet cream colored golden boy came to GoldHeart when his family (with young children) was no longer able to keep him due to an upcoming move. He gets along great with everyone he meets (humans and his foster siblings).

He is UTD onĀ  routine vettingĀ  and due to his young age, our intent is that Marshmallow will be adopted out with a GoldHeart Puppy Contract, and his forever home will need to have his neuter surgery performed (he have confirmed he does have unilateral cryptorchid, so recommendations on time to neuter will be provided). Proof of neuter (vet invoice/spay certificate) will be required. Upon receipt, GoldHeart will reimburse his forever home up to $100 towards the surgery cost.

If you are not yet approved by Goldheart, and are in our SERVICE AREA, after the current freeze on applications is lifted (sorry, we do not know when that will occur), you may complete an adoption application (access is not currently available at our website).
