Joe GH-1126

On September 30, GoldHeart welcomed handsome 5-year old Joe into GoldHeart. Joe came by way of a shelter after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Joe needs some training to become the Golden he was meant to be, and a vacancy was available, so he entered the Happy Hounds Prison Dog Program (Roxbury Prison) on the 16th of October.

Happy Hounds is an exceptional training program and can last from six up to 16 weeks. After Joe graduates, GoldHeart will be looking for a forever home that will continue to reinforce the training Joe receives and his complete bio will be posted as Looking for a Forever Home. Until then, you can go to the Happy Hounds website  to learn more about the program, and click here to check in on Joe once he is posted.

Think you may be interested in Joe after graduation? To inquire about Joe or any available Goldheart dog, you must be an approved GoldHeart adopter.

So, if you are not yet approved by Goldheart, and are in our SERVICE AREA, please complete an adoption application at http://www.goldheart.org/adopting-a-golden/adoption-application/. There is a $30 non-refundable application fee that must be received before the approval process starts. The approval process can take 6 weeks or more, and we rely on an all-volunteer support network to process your application, conduct the home visit, and check references. If approved, you can then inquire about Joer when this post is updated that he is looking for a forever home, and you can also inquire about any other available dog that is looking for a forever home. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
